FAQ
The questions factory ownersask us most
Pricing, timelines, ownership and results — the most common questions in one place. Can't find yours? Ask us on WeChat.
01Working together and pricing
01Who owns the website, domain and code?
You do. The domain is registered to your company, and at launch we hand over the full source code and every login. If we part ways you take everything — it's in the contract.
02Can you guarantee page one on Google?
No, and nobody honestly can. Google decides rankings, and agencies that promise page one usually target terms nobody searches. We promise a clear method and full transparency, with your Google data open to you at all times.
03How soon will the website bring inquiries?
Google Ads usually brings inquiries within days of launch. SEO is a long-term investment; most factories see clear organic growth in 3–6 months, depending on competition and content.
04How is pricing worked out?
Per project. We first check your current website and market for free, then propose a plan and quote based on your products, target markets and budget. No hidden fees and no forced annual lock-in.
05We already sell on Alibaba.com. Do we still need our own site?
They work together. Platform buyers belong to the platform and compare on price; inquiries from your own site come straight to you, and you keep the customer data. Many factories run both and use their own site as the long-term base.
06Where is the site hosted? Does it open in China?
On Hong Kong or overseas servers, so it's fast for buyers in the US and EU and still opens normally in mainland China. We avoid services blocked in China, so your team can manage it from anywhere.
07Nobody on our team writes good English. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Our native writers produce the English; you just tell us about your products and factory in Chinese. When inquiries arrive, we provide English reply templates too.
02Export websites
01How long does a factory website take?
A standard B2B site usually takes 6–10 weeks, with copy and photography taking a good part of it. You get a clear timeline before we start.
02WordPress or custom build?
Depends on needs. Most factory sites are well served by a mature open-source CMS — easy to maintain and never locks you in. We build custom features when needed. Either way you get the code.
03Can you redesign our existing site?
Yes. We audit it first, keep pages that already rank, and set up redirects so Google traffic isn't lost.
04Do we maintain it ourselves?
Your team can update products and articles in the Chinese admin. We can look after hosting, security and backups, or hand that to your IT staff.
05Can we do the website only, without marketing?
Yes, but a site nobody finds rarely brings inquiries. We recommend at least solid SEO basics or a Google Ads test.
03Google SEO
01How long until SEO shows results?
Most factories see clear organic growth in 3–6 months; competitive niches take longer. The first months go into fixing foundations and building content.
02SEO or Google Ads?
Ads work fast but stop when you stop paying; SEO is slower but the traffic doesn't cost per click. If budget allows, test keywords and markets with Ads while building SEO.
03Do you use AI to write?
We use tools for research, but every piece is based on interviews with your engineers and written and checked by native writers.
04Can you guarantee rankings?
No. Google decides. We guarantee transparency: what we do, why, and the results, all verifiable in your own Google accounts.
05You didn't build our site — can you still do SEO?
Yes. We audit first, and if the site itself blocks progress we'll tell you honestly and recommend fixes or a rebuild.
04Google Ads
01How much does Google Ads cost per year?
You set the budget. Many exporters spend ¥100–300k a year; others start testing with a few thousand a month. We suggest a 1–2 month test before scaling.
02Is there an account opening fee?
Google charges none. We help you open the account in your company's name.
03How soon do inquiries come?
Usually within days of approval. The first two to four weeks are a test period, and cost per inquiry falls as we optimise.
04How are you different from a Google reseller?
We don't earn rebates on top-ups — only a service fee — so we have no reason to make you spend more.
05Can you take over our existing account?
Yes. We audit it first and list where budget is wasted and what can improve.
